Bio
A Bay Area native, Maribel was born in San Jose and grew up in Union City. Maribel and her husband, Jonathan, began attending Grace South Bay after moving to San Jose in 2021, previously having been at Grace Palo Alto.
Maribel has a B.S. in Finance from SFSU and has over 10 years experience in corporate Accounting and bookkeeping. She is fluent in Spanish, and has ministry experience in high school ministry and has been on several short-term mission trips to northern and central Mexico and Costa Rica. Currently, she is working on completing a Master of Arts in Theological Studies through Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Maribel enjoys traveling and learning; being in Wittenberg on Reformation Day for the quincentenary of the Protestant Reformation was a particular highlight. She is a lifelong San Francisco Giants fan, likes hunting down a coffee shop with a good pour over for her husband, enjoys the outdoors, and likes live music, especially jazz or classical concerts.
